Are you an educator looking to broaden your career options? UQ offers four postgraduate programs focusing on the professional development needs and in-service requirements of teachers and administrators.
Graduate Certificate in Educational Studies
This half-year program is suitable for practising teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals, or for professionals in other areas wishing to gain expertise in education.
Master of Educational Studies – 16 units
This one-year program is suitable for practising educators with an approved honours degree in the same discipline and who have achieved a GPA of 4, or a degree in the same field combined with 2 years full-time relevant work experience.
Master of Educational Studies – 24 units
This 18-month program is for those with an approved degree in the same discipline, or a Graduate Certificate/Diploma in the same discipline, or any approved degree and 2 years full-time relevant work experience.
Master of Educational Studies – 32 units
Suitable for all applicants with a degree in any discipline, having achieved a GPA of 4, this two-year program provides advanced professionally oriented studies that focus on development for teachers and administrators.
