Overview

The annual Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) Teaching and Learning Awards event celebrates the achievements of academic colleagues who have shown sustained excellence in Teaching and Learning.

At HASS, our Teaching and Learning goals are founded on enhancing the student learning experience through innovation, excellence and continuous improvement. In this event we bring together creative and excellent teachers across our disciplines who are committed to ensuring our students graduate with the intellectual, analytical and communication skills to navigate their way through, and positively shape the evolution of the social world.

In celebrating the achievements of colleagues who have demonstrated, promoted and sustained these principles, awards will be presented across the four broad categories of teaching excellence, early career teaching excellence, tutor excellence, and program innovation.

Our award winners will share their achievements in brief presentations, followed by a lightly catered afternoon tea.
