Performance: Twelfth Night
Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble
Wednesdays to Sundays, 24 August 2016 to 9 September 2016 - Roma Street Parkland Amphitheatre, Brisbane
Saturday, 10 September - Redlands Performing Arts Centre, Cleveland
One of Shakespeare’s most admired comedies, Twelfth Night makes use of every trick in the playwright’s book: cross-dressing, mistaken identity, trickery and debauchery, a love triangle, even a pirate—all with a disquietingly dark undercurrent. Under the artistic direction of Rob Pensalfini, and in a performance rich in live original music, the Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble brings this most complex of plays to life with the energy and clarity that have become the company’s trademarks.
Tickets for Roma Street Parkland available soon.
