Organised by the Asia Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect and the Australian Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, Ms Nadia Murad Basee Taha, a Yazidi genocide survivor, will share her personal story of escape from ISIS.

Nadia is a 2016 Nobel Peace Prize nominee and in December 2015 addressed the United Nations Security Council’s first ever session on human trafficking in armed conflict.

She is in Australia to advocate for recognition and justice.

Only registered attendees will be admitted to the auditorium.
