The Real World of an English-Chinese Translator

The workshop is designed to help students develop a good understanding of the translation industry, by which we will talk about the daily responsibilities of translators/interpreters, what challenges they will face, and career prospects. In this workshop, we have the honor to invite three keynote speakers, who have rich experiences working in the translation industry, to share their experiences, insights, and tips about becoming a successful translator/interpreter.

As an exclusive workshop for UQ students, alumni, and staff, we also seek to encourage all attendees to speak their minds and raise questions associated with workplace culture and career advice.
