Presented by E/Professor Fred D'Agostino and Professor Peter Harrison

Your PhD research does not need to remain behind you at University. Developing your thesis into a book will make you more competitive for academic positions, grants, and postdocs, and will provide you with an immense sense of personal satisfaction. This workshop explains the difference between a thesis and a book, and offers strategies for developing ideas and structure to reshape your thesis so it appeals to an academic publisher.

Please bring along the following items to this session

  1. The working bibliography for your dissertation
  2. A Wi-Fi-enabled device (smartphone, laptop, tablet etc.) on which you can access the UQ Library Search function.
