2023 Student Representative (Postgraduate): Languages and Cultures Teaching and Learning Committee

Hello! My name is Qingmiao and I am a second-year Master of Applied Linguistics student, majoring in TESOL.  

Here at UQ, I’ve had the opportunity to participate in the 2022/2023 Summer Research Program as a summer scholar. Also, collaborated on developing two course materials that promote active learning and engagement under the Student-Staff Partnership (SSP) projects. Additionally, I enjoy organizing events that bring students from diverse backgrounds together and am an active member of UQ Voices, a welcoming choir for all students.
