Sophia Beitz

As a UQ Bachelor of Arts graduate, I understand the transformative impact that a strong sense of belonging can have on the university experience. I'm passionate about supporting students to navigate university life, build meaningful connections, and develop the confidence to pursue their academic and career goals.

My background in marketing, engagement, and event management has provided me with extensive experience creating student-focused initiatives, delivering large-scale events, and developing communications that connect students with opportunities and support services. In my current role as a Senior Student Success Officer, I work with colleagues and students to bring the ‘Belonging by Design’ project to life, helping to create a more connected and inclusive BA student experience.

The most rewarding part of my role is seeing students discover their strengths, build community, and thrive during their time at UQ.
