Emily is a postgraduate student in the School of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry at UQ. While completing her Honours thesis in 2017, she became involved in the development of a new multidisciplinary minor program for the Bachelor of Arts, and has continued to contribute to this, and other, ongoing projects within the HASS faculty. As the recipient of an Endeavour scholarship in 2014, Emily spent two years in Thailand studying Thai language and interning with a local non-government organisation known as the Labour Rights Promotion Network, where she developed, and secured US government funding for, an anti-human trafficking project. Emily has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History, and is a prospective PhD candidate.
