Welcome to the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS)!
Select your program from the list below and register for the relevant Program Welcome Session(s). If you are studying a dual degree, you will need to attend and register for both of your program sessions.
These sessions are a great opportunity to meet your Program Director, learn about your degree structure, receive academic advice, connect with fellow students, and discover the support services available to help you succeed at UQ.
Some sessions may be listed as compulsory; however, attendance is not mandatory and there are no penalties for non-attendance. Presentation slides will be made available on this page after Orientation Week.
Planning for Semester 1, 2027 Orientation is underway. Session details and registration links will be published here as they are confirmed.
