Congratulations to some of our most inspiring and dedicated teachers who have been recognised for their outstanding contributions to teaching and learning in both the Faculty and UQ-wide award ceremonies.
Earlier this week a celebration was held at Brisbane’s Customs House, where teachers were honoured from across the University for their innovation, commitment and drive in UQ's Teaching and Learning Awards.
UQ Drama was included in the winners, and recognised in the Award for Programs that Enhance Learning.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor Joanne Wright said the annual Teaching and Learning Awards honoured teachers from across the University for their innovation, commitment and drive.
“We set aside this night each year to recognise and thank those teachers who extend themselves and go the extra mile to create stimulating and inspirational environments for their students.
“It’s always an honour to be able to thank our teachers for their invaluable work,” she said.
The HASS Faculty Teaching and Learning Awards Ceremony will take place this afternoon where awards will be presented for distinction in the following areas:

Teaching and Learning Week runs from Monday 29 October to Friday 2 November, with a focus on innovative teaching practices including blended learning, enterprise and innovation, and Students as Partners.
