Please join us for the final HASS All-Staff Forum of the year on Monday 1 December 2025. We'll share Faculty highlights and updates on teaching and learning, research, Indigenous engagement, the budget, and our 2025 Plan on a Page.
As always, the most important part of the forum will be hearing from you – your reflections, ideas, and questions.
Please note, this event will not be recorded, and we hope you can join us in person. Registrations are not required.
Annual Emma Hutchison Memorial Lecture

Join us for the first Annual Emma Hutchison Memorial Lecture on Thursday 4 December 2025. 'Mobilising Compassion' will be presented by Professor Michael Barnet (George Washington University), with comments from Professor Bina D'Costa (ANU) and Dr Fiona Terry (formerly ICRC). This annual lecture is held in honour and memory of Emma Hutchison, who was Associate Professor of International Relations at The University of Queensland at the time of her passing in November 2024.
