Step 5: Connect with other students

At university, forming connections with your peers is not just important, it’s essential to get the full UQ experience. Check out some of the programs and sessions designed to connect you with your uni mates below:

• HASS101: Nailing your first semester
  HASS101 sessions are centred around what is important to you, whether that’s essay planning or finding the best coffee. Learn from experienced students about where to focus in your first semester, ask your burning questions, and enjoy a brief campus tour.
  10am-11.30am (AEST), Tuesday 16 , Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 July 2024, St Lucia campus

• Get Set Mentoring Program
  The Get Set program connects new students in similar or same studies with student mentors. Get Set is a student-led program designed to help you connect, make new friends, and get to know the UQ community better.
