Jack Riddell

Hello, I'm Jack. Under HASS I am studying a Bachelor of Arts majoring in German and Philosophy. I found myself applying for the role of Student Ambassador following several volunteering engagements, which I found profoundly rewarding, that left me with a desire to do more. In my role as a Student Ambassador, I hope to be able to help students create meaningful connections with one another and help ease the transition from high school to university for first year students. 

In terms of academics, my foremost interests are in hermeneutics, philosophy of maths, epistemology, mystical authority, fiction as philosophy and English language exegesis of German philisophy. I am also especially interested in English, French, German, Italian and Russian literature of the Reformation, Late Enlightenment and the Modernist movements. 

I'm always game for a yarn and look forward to meeting and helping plenty more HASS students in the future!
