Ms Ash Young

In my role as Senior Student Experience Officer in the HASS Student Futures team, my job is to make sure that HASS students have the opportunity to make the most of their time at UQ. I organise and deliver engaging and informative events  and activities, such as HASS Orientation Week and the HASS Student Voice forum. I also work with student volunteers and representatives to participate in governance committees and dialogue with senior leadership. It's so important to me that students have a voice to shape decision making here at UQ. 

I love what I do, and I have 10 years of event management experience to back it up. 8 of those years have been at UQ, so I know the place inside out. My strengths lie in relationship building, planning strategically, and using technology effectively. I’m always up for a coffee or a chat, so feel free to reach out to me anytime!
