Stuart Watt

Stuart has been a journalist for more than 25 years. He started his career in business-to-business magazines in London, covering social care and local government. On returning to Australia, Stuart joined the ABC and in 1996 was part of the six-person team that launched ABC News Digital. For more than nine years he led the team as managing editor, employing dozens of UQ journalism graduates, before taking up a new role in February as the Head of Distribution for ABC News. He is married with three grown-up children.
