Are you a teacher of English and other second languages, or a professional in translation and interpreting, looking to advance your career? UQ offers four postgraduate programs that will strengthen your skills in the fields of Applied Linguistics and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

This six-month program covers the fundamentals of teaching a second language and applied linguistics and is suited to those who have completed an approved degree in any discipline.
This one-year program is for those who have an approved bachelor's degree, and provides coursework students the opportunity to explore research options and develop specialisations for further study.
This 18-month program is suitable for those who have a Graduate Certificate in Applied Linguistics, or an approved degree combined with two years of language teaching experience.
This two-year program is offered for those who have completed MA-level studies and wish to take up a dissertation before advancing to a higher degree by research.
