The UQ Foundation Research Excellence Awards celebrate the exceptional research achievements and leadership potential of individual early and mid-career researchers (EMCRs). By recognising and supporting EMCRs this prestigious award aims to foster their development as research leaders, accelerating their career development and enabling them to make a sustained impact in their disciplines.

Also, congratulations also to Professor Cameron Parsell from the School of Social Science who received a commendation in the UQ Partners in Research Excellence for his research partnership with Micah Projects and St Vincent de Paul Society, and Dr Stephanie MacMahon and her team from the UQ Learning Lab in the School of Education who received a commendation in the UQ Partners In Translational Research Excellence category for their Partner Schools Program, a research translation partnership with schools and education sectors across Australia.
