Step 3: Attend your Program Information Session

Each HASS program coordinates a Program Information Session within Orientation Week, which is compulsory for new HASS students to attend.

These sessions offer an introduction to academic life, providing insights into your specific field of study and opportunities to connect with peers and support services before starting your classes.

Sessions are marked as compulsory because they offer a valuable experience for new students, but attendance is not mandatory and you won’t be penalised for not attending. Slides from the sessions will be posted on the HASS Orientation website after Orientation Week.
