Webinar: Your Career Outside the Lecture Theatre: Extracurricular Activities and Employability

Through sharing their stories and insights, the HASS Young Alumni Ambassadors will help current HASS students identify appropriate extracurricular events to participate in while they are at studying to help build their employability.  

Some of the areas likely to be covered in this session are:

• What extracurricular activities are available for HASS students at UQ?
• Should students look outside UQ for their extracurricular activities?
• Are there particular activities that students should focus on over others?
• Should I target a specific activity if I want a specific career? 
• Is there a difference between paid and unpaid extracurricular events?
