HASS Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship
The HASS Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship supports undergraduate First Australians facing financial hardship to engage in a HASS education.
Started through a generous gift from Professor Heather Zwicker, this fund aims to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students are represented in the Faculty and that their voices are heard throughout our disciplines. The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences has the highest number of enrolled Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students across the University.
The Scholarship represents our shared commitment to a society that acknowledges our history and takes steps to alleviate systemic barriers to equality.
