Ms Megan Stegeman

I began my journey at The University of Queensland as a student casual while I studied for my Bachelor of Science (Honours)- giving me a firsthand appreciation for the student experience I now work to shape. Since progressing to full-time professional roles, I’ve also completed a Master of Leadership and Innovation, a qualification that reflects both my career focus and a genuine enthusiasm for finding smarter, more meaningful ways to do things. Learning has always been at the heart of what drives me, and I find real purpose in the opportunity my work provides to help students enjoy that same experience.

My current key projects include:

• BA Hub: Study sessions for new BA students, led by peer leaders who've been there before. Come for the food, stay for the study support and chats. Features fortnightly themes in a choose-your-own-adventure style that keeps things fresh and engaging.
• HASS Connect Mentoring Program: One-on-one mentoring relationships where students explore their study and career goals, discover potential pathways, and build meaningful professional networks with guidance from experienced mentors.
