HASS Connect Mentoring Program

Build Confidence. Broaden Understandings. Make Connections.

The HASS Connect Mentoring Program brings you together with industry professionals from many diverse careers.  Work with your mentor to explore your career pathways and get practical advice on how you can start living it.

The objectives of the mentoring program are:

  1. To establish positive mentoring relationships that are mutually beneficial
  2. To create study and career goals
  3. To increase student confidence in identifying potential career options
  4. To encourage professional networks and relationships
  5. To build awareness of personal employability and how to articulate this to others

Key dates for Semester 2, 2020:

Applications close: Sunday, 26 July 2020, 11:59pm

Successful students notified: Wednesday, 29 July 2020

Student introduction workshop: Wednesday, 5 August, 10am-11:30am (online)

Student meet & greet (optional in-person event): Thursday, 6 August, 4pm-5pm (St Lucia campus location TBC)

Student networking workshop: Monday, 10 August, 4:30pm-6pm OR Wednesday 12 August, 10am-11:30am (online). Only sign up for one of these workshops!

Launch networking event: Wednesday, 12 August, 6pm-7:30pm (online)

HASS networking event (optional in-person event): Wednesday, 26 August, 6pm-8pm (St Lucia campus location TBC)

Future of work networking event (optional in-person event): Wednesday 23 September, 6pm-8pm (St Lucia campus location TBC)

Celebration Event: October date to be confirmed
