HASS Connect Mentoring Program

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) are launching a new Industry Mentoring Program to provide an avenue for HASS students to access advice from industry professionals from many diverse careers. You will be able to get practical, up to date guidance from your mentor in a supportive environment in which you can feel comfortable exploring career options and goals. You will also have access to organised networking events, skills workshops and reflection activities increasing your confidence and ability to identify and articulate your employability to others.

As a mentee, you will gain guidance through a one-to-one mentoring relationship to help you gain a deeper appreciation of how your academic studies can be applied in the workplace.

The program will run from August to October and will include:

  • Induction to mentoring
  • Strengthsfinder workshop
  • Initial connection with your mentor
  • Networking launch event
  • Regular mentoring sessions
  • Reflection and feedback
  • Celebration

Places are limited! To participate you must be in your second year or above of an undergraduate HASS program. View the guidelines to find out if you're eligible and how to apply.
