El Carpenter

Hello! My name is El and I am in my third year of a Bachelor of Advanced Humanities majoring in English Literature and Ancient History.

I am currently an executive member in UQ’s English and Literature Society. I have endeavoured to be involved in the HASS community and I enjoy creating a space for literature students to foster their creativity, writing and critical thinking. 

Why did I want to become a student representative? I am eager to help facilitate dialogues between students and professors, to strengthen the HASS student voice, and provide the right resources to support you during your studies.
