PJ Holtum is a lead researcher and assistant director of Technology, Innovation, and Research at Services Australia. He is passionate about exploring the relationship between humans and technology and has a specific interest in the way digital technologies shape labour. 

PJ studied philosophy, sociology, and political science at Griffith University and the University of Queensland. Before working in the public sector, PJ worked in the School of Social Science at the University of Queensland as a postdoctoral research fellow and a member of staff. He facilitated several courses for the Queensland University of Technology and the University of Queensland as a sessional academic.
