Tea Dietterich
Tea Dietterich is the CEO and Founder of 2M Language Services, a defence-grade language technology and language service provider specialising in delivering safe and customised language AI and technical translation and interpreting services into 300+ languages across the resources, defence, healthcare, energy and the public sector. With established offices across Europe and LATAM, Tea is dedicated to fostering advanced AI ethics, data sovereignty, and cyber security, cross-cultural competencies, international trade, and foreign affairs.
A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), Tea serves as Chairman of the Board for the German Australian Business Alliance (iGABA) and the Australasian Association of Language Companies (AALC). Tea sits also on the Advisory Councils of the German Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK) and NAATI.
Tea holds a Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics (Translation and Interpreting) and Cultural Studies, with specialisation in International Law from the FASK Germersheim, Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz and is a NAATI Certified Advanced Translator and Interpreter and Adjunct Associate Professor at UQ's School of Languages and Cultures. A previous Manager of the Kimberley Aboriginal Interpreter Service, Tea’s company is today Queensland Government’s provider of First Nations language services across Courts and Hospitals.
Tea is a regular keynote speaker at industry conferences and has been featured in the Australian Financial Review.
