Brit Hawkins

Brit graduated from UQ with a Bachelor of Communication (Digital Media) in July 2019. As a student, Brit often struggled to articulate where she wanted her degree to take her and didn’t have a specific dream job she was working towards. As a mentee in the HASS Connect Mentoring Program, Brit was partnered with an industry professional who provided valuable insight and guidance, helping Brit to identify what she wanted to do after graduating. In her final semester, Brit became a Student Partner on the mentoring program, assisting to design, implement and evaluate the program for another group of students eager to gain industry insight and much needed career direction that so often evades HASS students. Since graduating, Brit works as a Communications Coordinator for Domino’s where she enjoys creating digital content, assisting the team with media campaigns and eating way too much pizza.
