Mary Chalaby graduated from the University of Queensland in 2018 with a Bachelor of Music (Honours). She completed an extended major in performance and her Honours thesis explored the art of arranging piano music. Mary also completed two arts administration internships with Musica Viva and UQ School of Music as part of her UQ degree. In 2015, she received her AMusA in piano performance and she also enjoys playing flute and violin and choral singing. Mary is now a Brisbane-based musician. She leads a portfolio career as a piano and music-theory teacher, solo and chamber performer, piano accompanist, music arranger and event coordinator. She regularly plays at conferences, community concerts and for Church  services and events. Mary has been teaching piano since 2011, has taught in two music schools, teaching up to forty students a week. Mary is now director, teacher, performer, and events coordinator at her private studio, Mary's Menuet Music Studio. Sharing and passing on her love and passion for music gives her great delight. When not musically occupied, Mary loves spending time with her family and friends, taking long walks, and engaging in her sewing, crotchet and baking hobbies.
