How to have your work featured
The Your Student Space blog aims to:
- Connect HASS students with each other by sharing stories about studies and life in HASS.
- Explore the many facets of campus life, both online and in-person.
- Highlight the value of the humanities and the diverse pathways students and graduates have taken in their studies and careers.
Requirements:
- Blog articles must be no longer than 800 words
- Identify 2-3 quotes that will be highlighted in the article
- Include one line about yourself as the author of the article
- Include at least two authentic and high-quality photos
- Paragraphs must be short
- Language must be clear and easy to read
- You must get written consent from interviewees to use their quotes and photos in your article. Please submit signed photo consent forms (available here) and provide written evidence that interviewees have reviewed your article and given you permission to publish. This is not required if you are writing about yourself.
How to submit:
Submit your article to studentfutures@hass.uq.edu.au. We will review your article within two weeks of submission. If your article is accepted, it will be published on the Your Student Space blog and may be shared on social media.
