This two-and-a-half-day residential program introduces students to key themes in William Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Since its first performance in 1606, this timeless tragedy challenges viewers to consider the effects of unchecked ambition and the pursuit of power.
Students will explore the play and its legacy through a series of lectures, workshops, and hands-on activities.
The program is a great opportunity for students to experience university life and what it is like to study Western Civilisation and Humanities at UQ.
If your students enjoy reading, writing, or thinking about big ideas, this is the Winter School for them.
