Associate Professor Kristen Lyons from the School of Social Sciences was the lead author on a new report from the Oakland Institute which exposes how the Green Resources' Carbon Offset Project in Uganda is undermining food security and livelihoods by excluding people from their own land.
Green Resources is a Norwegian industrial forestry and carbon offset project and is supported by a number of international financial institutions.
