A sleep health program from The University of Queensland's Institute for Social Science Research was one of nine successful projects that received an NHMRC/Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) Indigenous Health research grant.
Dr Yaqoot Fatima led a team of UQ researchers (Associate Professor Abdullah Mamun, Professor Simon Smith, Professor Lisa McDaid and Dr Nam Tran) who received $587K for their co-designed sleep health program to achieve better sleep and improved mental health symptoms in Indigenous adolescents.
