Lead partner for diversity and inclusion PwC, Gender Advisor to Chief of the Defence Force

For nearly a decade, Julie held the position of Executive Director of UN Women in Australia, where she was one of Australia’s most successful advocates for women on a range of issues including women’s access to leadership and decision making, economic security and eliminating domestic violence. Julie is the gender advisor to the Chief of Defence Force, and has consulted widely to Australian businesses around their own diversity practices, she is currently the lead partner for diversity and inclusion at PwC. She was awarded an Australia Day honour in 2013 for her work to advance gender equality in Australia and globally.
