HASS Student Representatives
The HASS Student Representatives work with committees, boards, and program coordinators within the faculty at either a school or faculty level to represent the needs of students in HASS. The Student Reps in HASS work closely with the UQ Union, each other, and both central and HASS-specific support structures to be a conduit for communication between students, staff and academics.

HASS Teaching and Learning Committee
The HASS Teaching and Learning Committee assures the highest standards in teaching and learning, student experience, and staff development and recognition across the Faculty. Its role is to influence UQ policy development and translate policy into practice. The Committee advises the Executive Dean on strategic and innovative initiatives that enhance the quality of the HASS educational experience.
HASS Board of Studies
The HASS Board of Studies advises the Executive Dean on current and future issues that have implications in relation to HASS programs. Its role is to develop new undergraduate and postgraduate programs within the Faculty, comment on the introduction of new courses and proposed changed to courses, and review the performance of existing programs through the Academic Program Review process.
School Teaching and Learning Committees
Each of the seven Schools in HASS has a Teaching and Learning Committee, which oversees all teaching, learning and student experience matters across the School. The Committee advises the Head of School on matters relating to teaching, learning and assessment. The Chairs of these committees are also members of the HASS Teaching and Learning Committee.
