2021 Changes for the Diploma in Arts

We have recently completed a review of the Diploma in Arts (DipArts) and have made some changes to this program for students commencing in Semester 1, 2021.

Some of the changes were made to standardise aspects of UQ programs. Other changes were made to ensure that we have a sustainable suite of program, plan and course offerings. When viewing the course list on the Programs and Courses website, you can change which year you are viewing using the dropdown box near the top right of the list to compare the 2021 DipArts with the pre-2021 program.

As a continuing student, your choice of plans (Minors, Majors) will determine to what extent you are affected by these changes but please be assured that you will be able to complete the plan or combination of plans you have commenced.

  • 23 November 2020 – mySI-net enrolments open for Semester 1, 2021
  • 4 December 2020 – Program change requests open in mySI-net
  • 18 January 2021 – My Timetable opens for Semester 1 preferencing
  • 1 February 2021 – mySI-net enrolments open for Semester 2, 2021
  • 12 February 2021 – Last day to submit a program change request for Semester 1, 2021
  • 5 March 2021 – Last day to add courses in mySI-net for Semester 1, 2021
