Automated Decision-Making systems now play a ubiquitous role in shaping social relationships and cultural life. This theme is organised around the UQ Node of the ARC Centre of Excellence in Automated Decision-Making and Society. How can potential biases and issues be mitigated, to ensure better outcomes for users? We work across disciplines and institutions to develop responsible, ethical and inclusive approaches to automated-decision making across media, health and social services.

UQ is home to a node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society.
