Meeting the expectations of the changing media landscape
We teach our students to tell great stories in innovative and engaging ways, and to shape the future using creativity and imagination.
Journalists of the future need to be multi-skilled, adaptable, resourceful and creative and UQ’s journalism program has been re-designed to meet the expectations of this changing media landscape.
You will learn the principles and practices of new digital media production giving you the skills required to undertake internships, fieldwork studies and independent project work.
The cross-platform manner in which you are taught reflects the reality of the modern newsroom-based or freelance journalist.
