What Next? Post-Undergraduate Study and Employment Options for POLSIS Students
11 October 2023 4:00pm–6:00pm
This event is an opportunity for Undergraduate students to hear about options after they’ve completed their degrees. From postgraduate study options to what to expect from careers in relevant fields, and how you might draw on University resources to get there. You’ll hear from:
- Freya Bliss, an ex-student and current diplomat about the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Grad Program,
- Dr Melissa Curley, the Director of the POLSIS Graduate Centre about postgraduate course options,
- Louise Shaw, a representative from UQ Employability to talk about readying yourself for a post-Uni career and UQ services available to you.
There will be plenty of opportunity for Q&A, and all this will be followed by free drinks and pizza!
Date: Wednesday 11 October
Time: 4:00pm - 6:00pm
