The Bachelor of Communication at UQ has been re-designed to respond to employer demand across the media and communication industries.
Our program will develop your expertise in multimedia and online content production, social media engagement and analytics, community and stakeholder engagement, and campaign development.
The Bachelor of Communication will give you a strong foundation in writing, industry engagement (including internships), practice and production skills, and critical thinking.
You will study a number of compulsory courses to introduce you to the central features of communication processes and then you can specialise by choosing a major in Digital Media or Public Relations, or you can combine these as a double major. To complement these choices you can also choose from a selection of minors in:
